About

I have been a photographer for 26 years, first covering musical events and recording artists. This was an excellent training ground for developing my skills. I learned so much about the subtle qualities of light.

In 1986 I began concentrating on fashion and beauty assignments, eventually working in New York City, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. I also specialized in photographing ballet and contemporary dancers and stage productions. Working with models and dancers refined my photography on so many levels. Most important was developing the critical skill of anticipating the perfect moment.

I photographed my first wedding in the Summer of 2002. After that first event I fell in love with the beauty, drama, and spontaneity that each wedding presents. Wedding photography offers everything I enjoy about being a photographer and complements my fine art approach.

A generous portion of my sales go to assist the poorest of the poor through micro-finance loans. This is an exciting and proven solution to poverty I strongly advocate.
